Dear Members,
As you would be aware, the football community was saddened by the passing of Les Murray earlier this week. Les was not only the figure head for the sport nationally, but had deep connections to the St George area.
As a mark of respect, the SGFA has requested that ALL SENIOR games, played this weekend 5/6 August, observe a minutes silence before the kick off of each fixture.
As such, the SGFRA requests all referees, on senior games, to please facilitate this request. Players will also be wearing black arm bands.
