Referee Practical Training Session
- Date: Tuesday 23rd May 2023
- Time: 6:30pm – 8:00pm
- Location: Valentine Sports Park, 235-257 Meurants Ln, Glenwood NSW 2768
- Registration is essential
During this session participants will run through referee and assistant referee drills to improve key skills like signaling and positioning on the field. Hosting and running the drills will be NPL NSW Women’s and A-League Women’s match officials, who will give the participants tips to help them on their weekend matches.
Referee Panel
- Date: Thursday 25th May 2023
- Time: 6:30pm – 8:00pm
- Location: Valentine Sports Park, 235-257 Meurants Ln, Glenwood NSW 2768 (this session will be hosted inside, in the Learning Centre)
- Dinner: Dinner will be provided
- Limited places, registration is essential
During this session participants will have the chance to hear female referees from FIFA, NPL NSW and A-Leagues speak about their experiences as match officials and their pathway. Attendees will also have the opportunity to submit their own questions to the panel. Panel members include Sarah Ho (FIFA Assistant Referee), Kelly Jones (A-League Women’s Referee) and Amber Morris (A-League Women’s Assistant Referee).
Both sessions are open to all match officials (including Game Leaders/cadets/Mini Roos referees if they are interested) who identify as a woman or non-binary.
